Payment Methods

Payment can be made in the following ways:
PayPal – Credit Card.


Shipping

To ship goods from our warehouse, we rely on TNT / BRT / GLS / POSTE ITALIANE / SDA. The goods may also be delivered by other trusted couriers chosen by us.
Deliveries take place throughout Italy and internationally via express courier, at the cost indicated during checkout.
For small and lightweight packages, shipping may be carried out via Poste Italiane with tracking, both in Italy and abroad.

IMPORTANT

Pursuant to Legislative Decree of 22 May 1999, No. 185 (distance contracts), the goods travel at the risk of the recipient. Drop It is not responsible for any theft, damage, or total/partial loss.
The risk of damage or loss passes to the Customer once the parcel is handed over to the courier in charge of delivery.

The shipment is insured only if specifically requested by the Customer, with an additional insurance fee.

Upon delivery, the Customer must check:

  • that the number of parcels matches what is stated on the accompanying document;

  • that the packaging is intact, undamaged, not wet, altered, or tampered with, including the sealing materials (Drop It logo tape).

Any damage or discrepancies, as well as delivery delays, must be immediately reported to the courier by writing “received with reservation for missing and/or damaged parcels” on the courier document, and must also be reported to Drop It via email within seven calendar days.
Even if the packaging appears intact, the contents must be checked within seven calendar days of receipt.

Reports submitted after these terms, or through different methods, will not be accepted.
Once the courier’s document is signed, the Customer may no longer raise objections regarding the external condition of the goods or the number of parcels received.


Product Availability and Lead Times

If product availability is shown as “0”, it means the item must be ordered. Lead times vary depending on the product.

If availability is “1” or higher, shipping is faster and normally processed within 24/48 hours.

These lead times are estimated and may vary.
In case of further delays, Customer Service will contact you.

It may also occur that:

  • while you are ordering a product shown as available, another customer may be ordering it at the same time via eBay, our website, or directly at our warehouse;

  • if you order multiple units, the full quantity may not be shipped in a single delivery, even if the website shows sufficient stock. This may happen because the same product is being purchased simultaneously by other customers.

In such cases, the goods will be delivered in multiple shipments.
For any “backorder” shipment, you will not be charged additional shipping costs.

Unless otherwise instructed, Drop It is authorized to make partial deliveries. Shipping costs (if applicable) are charged only once.
The parcel is delivered directly to the Customer by the courier, who does not provide delivery to upper floors.


Warranty and Assistance

All products sold by Drop It are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and by a 12-month warranty for lack of conformity, pursuant to Legislative Decree 24/02.

To receive warranty assistance, the Customer must keep the invoice or payment receipt and the corresponding order details.

By accepting the purchase contract, the Customer acknowledges and accepts the warranty terms in force at the time the warranty request is made.
The manufacturer’s warranty is provided according to the documentation included with the product.

Drop It covers product warranty, but does not cover labour costs if installation is performed by workshops or body shops not authorized by Drop It.


Delays

No compensation may be claimed for delays in repairs or replacements carried out by service centres chosen by the Customer.
If the warranty process requires the return of the product, the item must be returned in its original packaging, complete with all components.


Product Returns (under Warranty)

If warranty application requires returning the product, it must be returned in its original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging, documentation, and accessories such as manuals, cables, etc.).

To avoid damage to the original packaging, we recommend placing it inside a second box.
Labels and adhesive tape must not be applied directly to the original packaging.

Legislative Decree 206/05 states that the return must be made within 7 working days from receipt of the goods.


Complaints

Drop It is attentive to customer needs.
You can report any issues such as missing items, unprofessional staff, unreliable couriers, etc.

Sales Prices

All prices displayed and indicated on dropit-shop.com include VAT and all applicable taxes.
Prices are shown in Euros.
Shipping costs are charged to the Customer and clearly displayed before completing the order.

In case of price discrepancies after the order has been placed, these will be immediately communicated to the Customer by email.
The Customer may cancel the order without penalty.

Images and technical information accompanying product listings may not be fully exhaustive and may differ (weight, colour, etc.).

Order receipt is confirmed by Drop It via an email sent to the Customer’s email address.
The Customer must check the correctness of all data and promptly report any errors.

The contract between the Customer and Drop It is considered concluded only after Drop It sends an email confirming order acceptance.

By placing an order on dropit-shop.com, the Customer declares to have read and accepted the terms of sale, payment methods, and purchase procedures.


Invoicing

For each order placed on the website, Drop It issues a fiscal receipt.
For shipments from our warehouse, the receipt is included inside the parcel.
For shipments made directly by suppliers, documentation is sent via email.

Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal is regulated by Legislative Decree No. 206 of 06/09/2005 and applies only to private consumers not purchasing with a VAT number.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must send a written communication to dropit@pec.it 

within 7 working days from receipt of the goods.
The withdrawal notice must be sent by registered letter with return receipt to:

Customers purchasing with a VAT number or ordering personalized/specific products cannot exercise the right of withdrawal.


Withdrawal Conditions

  • The right applies to the entire purchased product; it is not possible to withdraw only part of the product (e.g. accessories, attachments).

  • The product must be returned within 7 working days from receipt.

  • The item must be intact and returned in its original packaging, complete with all parts (packaging, documents, accessories).

  • To prevent damage, the original packaging should be placed in a second box.

  • Labels or adhesive tape must not be applied directly to the original packaging.

  • According to the law (Art. 67, paragraphs 1, 3 and 4), the only costs borne by the Customer are the shipping costs for returning the goods.

The shipment remains under the Customer’s responsibility until it is received at our warehouse or, for some products, at the corresponding supplier warehouse.

If the product is damaged during transport, Drop It will notify the Customer (within 5 working days), allowing them to file a claim with the courier.
In that case, the item will be made available to the Customer and the withdrawal request will be cancelled.

Drop It is not liable for damage, theft, or loss of goods returned without insurance.

If the product or packaging shows damage not caused by transport, Drop It may retain up to 20% of the refund to cover restoration costs.


Withdrawal Procedure

  1. Send a registered letter with return receipt to:

  2. Wait for confirmation of receipt from Drop It.

  3. Send the product according to the provided instructions.

Refunds will be issued within 30 days from receipt of the withdrawal notice, excluding shipping costs.
Refunds are made via bank transfer, so the Customer must provide full bank details.


When the Right of Withdrawal Is Void

The right of withdrawal becomes void if:

  • the product has been partially used;

  • the external or internal original packaging is missing;

  • the product is damaged for reasons other than transport;

  • essential components are missing (accessories, parts, etc.).

Customers purchasing with a VAT number cannot exercise the right of withdrawal.
