Drop It Motorsport has supplied aftermarket, performance and motorsport products across Italy and Europe since 2017 and operates as an independent specialist retailer.

By visiting the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy, Aftermarket & Motorsport Product Conditions and any specific conditions shown on the relevant product page or during checkout.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.

1. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to purchases made by consumers and business customers through dropit-shop.com.

A consumer is a natural person purchasing for purposes unrelated to their commercial, entrepreneurial, craft or professional activity.

A business customer is a company, professional or other person purchasing for purposes related to their commercial, entrepreneurial, craft or professional activity.

Certain statutory protections described in these Terms, including the consumer right of withdrawal and the consumer legal guarantee of conformity, apply only to consumers.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

To place an order, you must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

If you place an order on behalf of a company, organisation or other legal entity, you confirm that you are authorised to act on its behalf.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied during checkout is accurate, complete and up to date.

3. Products and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, compatibility information, technical details, images, prices and availability information are accurate.

Product photographs may be illustrative. Minor differences in colour, finish, packaging, branding, labels or accessories may occur where these differences do not materially alter the nature, specification or agreed functionality of the product.

Manufacturers may update a product, its packaging or minor design details without prior notice. Where a manufacturer’s change materially affects the product ordered, we will contact the customer before fulfilment whenever reasonably possible.

Obvious typographical, technical or data-entry errors may be corrected at any time. If an error materially affects an order already placed, we will contact the customer and offer an appropriate solution, which may include confirming the corrected information or cancelling the affected product for a full refund.

Nothing in this section limits the customer’s rights where the product supplied does not conform to the contract.

4. Vehicle Compatibility

Automotive parts are often specific to a particular model, production year, body version, engine, engine code, transmission, braking system, chassis or existing vehicle configuration.

Before ordering, the customer must carefully review the product title, description, compatibility information, part number and any technical notes shown on the product page.

Where compatibility depends on information not shown in the listing, the customer should contact us before ordering and provide the relevant vehicle details. These may include the model, year, engine, engine code, chassis number, registration document, original equipment part number or photographs of the original component.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that vehicle information supplied to us is complete and accurate.

Where a product has been correctly supplied according to the information provided by the customer, incompatibility caused by inaccurate, incomplete or omitted vehicle information may not constitute a conformity defect.

This does not limit the customer’s statutory rights where the product listing or compatibility advice supplied by Drop It Motorsport was incorrect or misleading.

5. Aftermarket and Motorsport Products

Many products sold by Drop It Motorsport are aftermarket, performance or motorsport components.

These products may differ from original equipment components in materials, dimensions, stiffness, noise, vibration, appearance, operating characteristics or installation requirements.

Certain products may be intended exclusively for competition, off-road use, closed-course use or vehicles modified for motorsport purposes. They may not be approved or legal for normal road use in every country.

The customer is responsible for checking the laws, regulations, approval requirements, inspection rules and insurance conditions applicable in the country where the product will be installed or used.

Any road-use approval, certification or homologation applies only where expressly stated on the product page or in the manufacturer’s documentation.

Aftermarket products may require professional installation, adjustment, calibration, programming or adaptation depending on the product and the vehicle’s condition or existing modifications.

The Aftermarket & Motorsport Product Conditions accepted during checkout form an integral part of the purchase contract.

6. Prices and Taxes

Prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency selected for the relevant market.

For destinations where value added tax is collected by Drop It Motorsport, prices will include the applicable VAT unless otherwise clearly stated.

Delivery charges and any other costs collected by Drop It Motorsport are displayed before the order is completed.

For certain destinations outside the European Union, prices may not include local import VAT, customs duties, brokerage charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.

Where import charges are not collected during checkout, they may be charged by the carrier or local authorities before or after delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the customer, provided that the applicable charging arrangement was made clear before purchase.

Prices may change at any time, but a price change will not normally affect an order that has already been accepted.

7. Placing an Order

Products are selected and added to the shopping cart through the website.

Before completing the order, the customer can review the selected products, quantities, delivery address, billing information, shipping charges and total price.

By selecting the final purchase button, the customer submits an order and agrees to pay the displayed amount.

After the order is submitted, an electronic confirmation will be sent to the email address provided during checkout.

The customer must review the order confirmation and contact us promptly if any information is incorrect.

8. Order Acceptance

An automated acknowledgment confirms that the order has been received by our system. It does not prevent us from contacting the customer regarding an evident pricing error, payment problem, fraud concern, product discontinuation or confirmed unavailability.

An order is considered accepted when payment has been successfully authorised and Drop It Motorsport confirms that the order can be processed.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where permitted by law, including cases involving failed or unauthorised payment, suspected fraud, manifest pricing or description errors, unlawful orders, delivery restrictions or confirmed product unavailability.

If an order that has already been paid is cancelled by Drop It Motorsport, all amounts collected for the cancelled products will be refunded using the original payment method without undue delay.

We will not request a higher price after an order has been accepted without the customer’s express agreement.

9. Product Availability

The website includes products available in our warehouse, products ordered from suppliers after receiving a customer order and products offered for preorder.

Availability information is updated regularly, but simultaneous sales through the website, marketplaces or other channels may occasionally cause a product shown as available to become unavailable.

A product not physically present in our warehouse may be ordered from the relevant supplier after the customer places the order. A product is not considered personalised solely because it is ordered from a supplier specifically for the customer.

If a supplier confirms that a product is discontinued, unavailable or subject to a substantial unexpected delay, we will contact the customer and provide updated information.

Where the delay is substantial, the customer may accept the revised estimated timeframe, select an available alternative by mutual agreement or cancel the affected product and receive a refund.

10. Preorders

Products offered as preorders are clearly identified on the relevant product page whenever applicable.

Release dates and expected delivery periods for preorder products are estimates supplied by manufacturers or distributors and may change.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout, payment for a preorder is collected when the order is placed.

If the manufacturer cancels the product or confirms that it cannot be supplied, the preorder will be cancelled and refunded.

If the expected availability date changes substantially, we will provide updated information when available. The customer may request cancellation before shipment unless the product has been genuinely personalised or manufactured according to the customer’s individual specifications.

Statutory rights relating to delivery delays remain unaffected.

11. Payment

Payments may be made using Shopify Payments and the card payment methods displayed during checkout or through PayPal.

Available payment methods may vary depending on the customer’s country, currency, order value or device.

Payment is subject to authorisation and verification by the relevant payment provider.

Drop It Motorsport does not directly store complete payment card numbers or security codes.

If payment is refused, reversed, cancelled or identified as unauthorised, we may suspend or cancel the order.

12. Order Cancellation Before Shipment

If you wish to cancel an order before shipment, please contact us as soon as possible at info@dropit-shop.com.

Where the order has not yet been shipped or entered an irreversible personalisation or manufacturing process, we will attempt to stop fulfilment.

For products ordered from a supplier, we will attempt to cancel the supplier order. If cancellation is still reasonably possible, the customer’s order will be cancelled and refunded.

A product is not automatically excluded from cancellation or withdrawal merely because it was ordered from a supplier after the customer placed the order.

If the order has already been shipped, the Refund & Return Policy and statutory withdrawal procedure will apply where applicable.

13. Shipping Destinations

We deliver to Italy, European Union countries, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other extra-EU destinations made available during checkout.

The availability of a country or region during checkout does not guarantee that every product can legally or practically be shipped to that destination.

Certain products may be subject to carrier restrictions, dangerous-goods rules, manufacturer distribution restrictions, customs restrictions, excessive parcel dimensions or local import regulations.

If we cannot ship a particular product to the selected destination, we will contact the customer and refund the affected product if no suitable solution is available.

14. Shipping and Fulfilment

Orders may be shipped from our warehouse or directly from an authorised supplier, distributor or manufacturer.

Direct shipment from a supplier does not change the customer’s contractual relationship with Drop It Motorsport. Drop It Motorsport remains the seller responsible for the order, subject to applicable law.

We may use different couriers, postal operators or logistics providers depending on the destination, parcel size, product type and fulfilment location.

The courier shown during checkout or in a delivery estimate may be replaced with an equivalent service where reasonably necessary.

Tracking information will be provided when available.

15. Partial Deliveries

Where an order contains multiple products with different availability or fulfilment locations, the products may be delivered in separate parcels.

Partial shipment does not normally result in additional delivery charges for the customer unless expressly agreed in advance.

Where a product is substantially delayed, the customer may contact us to discuss whether the available products should be shipped separately.

16. Delivery Times

Processing, dispatch and delivery times displayed on product pages, during checkout or in customer communications are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed as essential.

Products available in our warehouse can generally be processed more quickly than products ordered from suppliers or offered for preorder.

Delivery times may be affected by supplier delays, production delays, customs procedures, carrier disruption, adverse weather, public holidays, strikes, exceptional demand or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will provide updated information when a significant delay becomes known.

Estimated delivery times do not limit the customer’s mandatory rights. Where applicable law allows the customer to set an additional reasonable delivery period or terminate the contract due to delay, those rights remain unaffected.

17. Customs and Import Procedures

Customers ordering from destinations outside the European Union may be required to provide information or documents requested by the carrier or customs authorities.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the ordered products may lawfully be imported and used in the destination country.

If the customer refuses to pay disclosed import charges, fails to provide required customs information or refuses delivery, the parcel may be returned to us.

Any refund in such circumstances will be processed according to applicable law and may take into account actual non-refundable costs caused by the failed import or refused delivery, where legally permitted.

This does not apply where delivery failed because of an error attributable to Drop It Motorsport.

18. Transfer of Risk and Delivery Damage

For consumer purchases, the risk of loss of or damage to the goods remains with Drop It Motorsport until the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.

The risk may pass earlier only where the customer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered by Drop It Motorsport, as permitted by applicable law.

Customers should inspect the external condition of the parcel at delivery whenever reasonably possible.

If the parcel is visibly damaged, open, wet, crushed, incomplete or tampered with, the customer should record the issue with the courier and, where possible, accept the delivery subject to a written reservation.

The absence of a written reservation does not automatically cancel a consumer’s mandatory rights.

Damage, missing products or delivery discrepancies should be reported to info@dropit-shop.com as soon as reasonably possible, together with the order number, photographs of the parcel, shipping label, internal packaging and affected product where available.

Customers should retain the packaging until the issue has been assessed.

19. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers purchasing online generally have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 calendar days, subject to the conditions and statutory exceptions described in our Refund & Return Policy.

The Refund & Return Policy explains the withdrawal period, return procedure, return shipping costs, condition of returned goods, refund timing and exclusions applicable to genuinely personalised products.

Purchases made by companies, professionals or customers acting for business purposes are not covered by the statutory consumer right of withdrawal.

Nothing in these Terms replaces or limits the rights described in the Refund & Return Policy or applicable consumer law.

20. Incorrect, Damaged or Non-Conforming Products

If a product is incorrect, damaged, missing components, defective or does not conform to the contract, the customer should contact info@dropit-shop.com as soon as reasonably possible.

The customer should provide the order number and any photographs, videos, diagnostic information, vehicle details or other evidence reasonably necessary to assess the issue.

A product that appears incorrect or defective should not be installed, modified or used where doing so could cause further damage or create a safety risk.

We may request that the product be returned for inspection or testing and will provide the appropriate instructions.

Where applicable, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract in accordance with applicable law.

21. Legal Guarantee for Consumers

Products sold to consumers are covered by the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity.

Under Italian consumer law, Drop It Motorsport is generally responsible for conformity defects that become apparent within two years from delivery, subject to the conditions and remedies established by law.

The legal guarantee is provided by Drop It Motorsport as the seller and is separate from any commercial warranty offered by the manufacturer.

A manufacturer’s commercial warranty is additional to and does not replace the customer’s statutory rights against Drop It Motorsport.

Mandatory consumer rights cannot be excluded or reduced by these Terms.

22. Installation, Modification and Use

Automotive and motorsport products should be installed, adjusted, programmed and tested by a suitably qualified professional where the nature of the product requires professional work.

Before installation, the product should be compared with the original component and checked for correct application, part number, dimensions, connections and supplied hardware.

The customer or installer must stop installation and contact us if the product appears incorrect, damaged or incompatible.

Damage caused by incorrect installation, improper use, unauthorised modification, unsuitable calibration, accident, neglect, normal wear, competition use beyond the product’s intended specification or failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions is not a conformity defect attributable to Drop It Motorsport.

Installation or removal costs incurred without prior assessment or authorisation are not automatically reimbursable.

However, nothing in this section excludes any installation, removal, transport, repair or replacement costs that Drop It Motorsport is legally required to bear under mandatory consumer law.

23. Manufacturer Instructions and Warranties

The customer must follow the installation, maintenance, bedding-in, calibration and usage instructions supplied by the manufacturer.

Certain warranty claims may require photographs, videos, diagnostic reports, proof of professional installation, vehicle details, serial numbers or return of the product for inspection.

A manufacturer may assess a product under the terms of its commercial warranty. This does not remove or replace Drop It Motorsport’s obligations under the consumer legal guarantee.

Any time required for technical inspection will be kept within the limits permitted by applicable law and the circumstances of the case.

24. Business and Professional Purchases

Purchases made by companies, professionals or customers acting for purposes related to their business or professional activity are governed by the rules applicable to business transactions.

Business customers do not benefit from the statutory consumer right of withdrawal or consumer legal guarantee.

Returns of correctly supplied business purchases are subject to prior written authorisation and any conditions agreed in writing.

Mandatory rights applicable to business customers under Italian law remain unaffected.

25. Receipts and Invoices

Drop It Motorsport issues the appropriate receipt, commercial document or other fiscal documentation according to the type of order, destination and applicable legal requirements.

Customers requiring an invoice must provide complete and accurate invoicing information during checkout or contact info@dropit-shop.com immediately after placing the order and before the relevant fiscal document has been issued.

Italian business customers may be required to provide their company name, billing address, VAT number, tax code and SDI recipient code or certified email address where applicable.

Once a fiscal document has been issued, it may not always be legally or technically possible to modify or replace it.

26. Customer Accounts

Customers may create an account to review orders, manage addresses and use other available account features.

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account access details and for activity carried out through their account.

If you believe that your account has been accessed without authorisation, please contact info@dropit-shop.com promptly.

We may suspend access to an account where reasonably necessary to protect the customer, the website or other users.

Personal information associated with customer accounts is processed according to our Privacy Policy.

27. Website Use

The website may be used only for lawful purposes.

Users must not attempt to interfere with the website’s operation, security, checkout, accounts, databases or payment systems.

Users must not introduce malware, automated attacks, fraudulent orders, false payment information or content that infringes the rights of others.

We may restrict access, cancel fraudulent orders or take other proportionate action where necessary to protect the website, customers or our legal rights.

28. Intellectual Property

The website’s original content, layout, graphics, logos, text and other materials owned by Drop It Motorsport are protected by applicable intellectual property law.

Manufacturer names, product names, trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners.

The sale of compatible or brand-specific products does not imply that Drop It Motorsport is affiliated with, sponsored by or officially endorsed by a manufacturer unless expressly stated.

Website content may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission from the relevant rights holder.

29. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by Shopify, payment providers, social networks, analytics providers and other external parties.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Drop It Motorsport is not responsible for the independent content or operation of third-party websites that are not under its control.

This does not limit our responsibility for service providers acting on our behalf where applicable law makes us responsible.

30. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including mandatory liability for consumer conformity rights, fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where applicable.

To the extent permitted by law, Drop It Motorsport is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses that were not a reasonably foreseeable consequence of a breach at the time the contract was concluded.

Drop It Motorsport is not responsible for loss caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer, unlawful use of a product, improper installation, unauthorised modification or use contrary to manufacturer instructions.

For business customers, and only to the extent permitted by law, liability for ordinary direct losses connected with an order may be limited to the amount paid for the affected product.

Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

31. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, war, civil disturbance, government action, customs restrictions, transport disruption, strikes, network failure, cyberattack, supplier interruption or carrier disruption.

We will take reasonable steps to reduce the effects of such events and resume performance when reasonably possible.

If an event causes a substantial delay, the customer retains any cancellation or refund rights provided by applicable law.

32. Privacy

Personal information is processed according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

The Privacy Policy explains the categories of information collected, purposes and legal bases for processing, recipients, international transfers, retention periods and customer rights.

Cookie and advertising preferences can be managed through the Cookie Preferences link available in the website footer.

33. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business practices or legal obligations.

The updated version will be published on this page together with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes will not retroactively reduce the contractual or statutory rights applicable to orders placed before the updated Terms became effective.

The version in force when an order is placed will apply to that order.

34. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced to the minimum extent necessary to make it lawful and enforceable while preserving its intended purpose as far as possible.

35. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and purchases made through the website are governed by Italian law.

Consumers residing in another country retain any mandatory protections granted by the law of their country of residence where applicable.

Consumers may bring proceedings before the courts competent under mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules.

For business customers, any dispute arising from these Terms or a purchase made through the website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Turin, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Before starting legal proceedings, customers are invited to contact info@dropit-shop.com so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.
