Place the pad flat against the surface before starting, and work in a criss-cross pattern (back and forth). Adjust the speed according to the condition of the headlight. Continue with the 2400 grit (vertical), 3200 grit (horizontal) and 4000 grit (vertical) discs, keeping the surface damp at all times.
